In need of an outlet, struggling writer McKenzie becomes a first-time dungeon master. She gathers up a rag-tag crew to set out on the finest quest they can conjure on six-sided die. But life intrudes, in more ways than one, as the gaming quintet find that their personal complications start to bleed into their characters. Things all come to a head as McKenzie and her friends realize that even in the structured world of the game, journeys drift off-course - and that’s okay.
